THIS IS OUR STORY

Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat. It seems that capturing the perfect moment is always at our fingertips. Is it your godchild's first birthday party? Snap. Thanksgiving at your great-grandmother's? "Everyone squeeze together. Let's take a picture!" Someone pulls out their smartphone, and with the push of a button, they've memorialized that moment and shared it with their circle of friends, even adopting a personalized hashtag to accompany the image.

Capturing these precious moments were not always so easy, and it certainly wasn't the case for Brandon Queen. His interest in photography sparked at the early age of seven. When his family would gather together, no one had a camera, and as a result, there are very few recorded memories of those special times with those special people.

This is why Brandon Queen Photography, established on January 7, 2007, exists to capture today's moments for tomorrow's memories.

Between the ages of seven and eleven, the photography junkie would blow through disposable cameras while at church camp. Brandon purchased his first legitimate camera, a boxy Sony, at the age of sixteen, and in 2006, he had his first photo-session when he volunteered to take senior photos for a friend.

It was this talent and passion for photography that inspired Brandon Queen to start his photography company. In the first year, he worked alone and stuck to capturing senior photos. In the second year, he began taking pictures for family. He continued to grow his business slowly, and by 2012, he covered everything from infant photo shoots and wedding days to graphic design needs.

With this expansion of services, Brandon Queen Photography has since evolved from a one-man gig to a team of devoted assistants. Ben Bourgeois and Timothy Rodrigue. have come alongside Brandon to merge their passions and talents with his.

Brandon Queen Photography primarily serves the Thibodaux/Houma area, but Brandon has traveled to St. Mary and Assumption parishes and has worked with clients in the New Orleans community. "Let me put it to you like this," he says, "I will go anywhere that my car will take me. I love taking pictures. When I'm behind that lens, I'm in my element."

Anyone can point and shoot, but not everyone can produce professional images. Brandon Queen Photography provides quality photography at affordable prices and looks forward to satisfactorily capturing today's moments for tomorrow's memories just for you.
